Accommodation
Rooms have been pre-booked for participants at the Sheraton Resort and other hotels near the Forum venue. Rates indicated below have been especially negotiated for the Forum and can be obtained only through the Organising Secretariat (under the reservation conditions indicated below). They are per night and per room including breakfast, no taxes apply. For your reference, rates are quoted both in Euro (€) and Qatar Ryals (QAR) but prepayments are accepted in Euro only.

Transfers will be organised from the official conference hotels to and from the Sheraton Resort.

After this date, any reservation requests are subject to room availability and cannot be guaranteed by the Organisers.

Make a Hotel Reservation
In order to benefit from the above mentioned rates, reservation requests have to be submitted and handled exclusively by the Organising Secretariat (MCI) by Friday, 22nd July 2011 AT THE LATEST.
1. By secure online registration and payment
PLEASE NOTE THAT IN ORDER TO BOOK YOUR HOTEL ONLINE, BOOKINGS HAVE TO BE MADE AT THE SAME TIME AS THE FORUM REGISTRATION. Payment accepted by credit card (VISA, MASTER, EUROCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS) or bank transfer.
2. By fax or post: a hardcopy reservation form is available for download on the Forum’s website. It needs to be completed and sent back to the Organising Secretariat along with your payment.
Reservation Procedure
A 20€ booking fee (including VAT) will be charged as handling fee per hotel reservation.
All nights must be prepaid in advance. The amount corresponding to your entire stay will be charged upon reservation and will be automatically deducted from the total amount of your hotel bill at check out. “No Shows” on the first night will automatically cancel the entire reservation and involve the loss of the entire prepayment. If you shorten your stay, no refund will be made on the cancelled pre-paid room nights. Bookings are ensured on a first come first served basis. However, in the event that your preferred room type is no longer available at the time of booking, the Organisers will do their utmost to accommodate your requests with a similar alternative.
Confirmation
Upon receipt of your hotel reservation request, MCI will send you an invoice/confirmation letter summarising accommodation details and specifying your payment status.
Cancellation Policy for Registration:
Cancellations must be notified in writing (by mail or fax but NOT by E-MAIL) to the Organising Secretariat and are subject to the following conditions:
- For cancellations received up to July 22nd 2011, 100€ will be withheld for administrative fee.
- For cancellations received from July 22nd 2011, no refunds will be issued. No deposit refund will be issued for cancellation or no-show due to failure to obtain a visa.
Individual Account
All guests will be responsible for their own accommodation and incidental charges which are to be settled upon departure from the hotel.
